About Me:
I moved from Italy to Reading one year ago! I’m a chemist in the day and an amateur chef/barman in the evenings. These jobs are very similar, when I am in the lab I just have to remember to not lick the spoon!
Science, food, art and hiking are my passions. I am more than happy to mix also these topics. Have you ever wondered what does art chemistry mean? Or how food can be prepared on the peak of a mountain?

My Typical Day:
Breakfast (yogurt and granola), I walk 20 min to the bus stop to get to work by 8:30 where I run lovely experiments with light! Then, I have lunch with my colleagues (we are a bunch of guys from 20 to 30 years old, from everywhere in the world). By 6pm I go home where I can remove my lab coat and wear a chef’s hat. My roommates are more than happy when I turned into Seb the Chef!

What I'd do with the prize money:
I am a part of an EU Project. We are working really hard to get more public engagement, the prize will help us to build our personalised outreach toolkit which we will use to do practical demonstration in schools!
