I’m not too sure! I bet there’s some scientists somewhere secretly working on something cool that might have a big impact, we’ll have to wait and see 😊

Not that I know of at the moment but as we learn more and investigate more maybe scientists will find something new we haven’t thought of before

It depends how much research people have done into sources of greenhouse gases but I think alternatives to cement/concrete production and usage in construction would make some significant positive changes (these rely on stoichiometric decomposition of carbonates and CO2 release).

I think that efforts for carbon dioxide removal are slowly being recognised as very important if we are going to be able to slow/prevent climate change. These technologies can remove carbon dioxide at a source like a power plant (this is called carbon capture and storage), or directly from the air (direct air capture). These are very expensive right now, but will need to be scaled up to reach global targets.

I would echo Michael’s comment about carbon capture. If we can take pollutant/greenhouse gases from the air and turn them into something useful, that would be a great way to reverse the damage our species has done to the planet.
